A new marketing strategy The Pheeds Funnel |

I'm a fan of the TV show The Carbanaro Effect. It's about a magician that plays practical jokes on unsuspecting people. He does the same magic tricks but one simple change makes a profound difference. With other magicians, people ask, "How did he do that?". With Carbanaro they ask, "How did that happen and what's going on here?".
I just figured out something similar with marketing. A simple little change that has a big impact on my own marketing. It has to do with sales funnels.
I personally don't like having to click through a bunch of "OTOs" to get to my purchase. On the other hand, as a seller I understand that they do help the bottom line and some people like REASONABLE product funnels. But being a "treat others how you want them to treat you" I rarely added OTO/Upsells/Downsells to my products.
But that's changed. It's the Pheeds Funnel. I'm now putting TWO Buy Buttons on my sales pages.
1. Buy and get direct access.
-or-
2. Buy and check out some special deals you won't get anywhere else.
It's now each person's choice. For me as a seller I'm fine with this and I'm now treating people how I want to be treated. Give me a choice.
You can see a Pheeds Funnel in action here on the new Domain Royale Method sales page:

What do you think of this as a customer?
And sellers...how can this be improved? Could a discount be offered for people that choose the funnel?

Interesting email marketing strategy |

I'm sure others are aware of this, but I just came across it...it's a free Chrome browser plugin and it tracks the open rate of individual emails sent in Gmail.
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...pifh?hl=en
The strategy is when you reach out to someone by email you can tell if they opened your email or not. And if it was opened multiple times it could mean that there is interest in your message and/or it is being passed around and discussed. It also can tell you right away when an email is opened so you can send another message when you know they are looking at their email.
This seems really powerful...and creepy. I don't use Chrome or Gmail much because of Google's prying eyes. What do you think, too creepy to use?

Silly? Domain Question |

Who "owns" a domain name and has ultimate control? Is it the person who paid the bill/domain registrar customer or one of the admin/tech contacts?
Is there a way, that you know of, to maintain control of a domain with someone else paying the bill?
Weird question/situation.

Ever think about the different person different people think you are? |

We don't see everything about each other. We all judge and are judged by little snapshots of each other. For example, I played a lot of sports in high school. I started smoking when I was 19. People that knew me in my teens wouldn't have believed I starting smoking cigarettes.
Over the years I became I heavy smoker. I quit in 2003. I ran into an old friend online and he couldn't believe I quit smoking and that he never saw me without a cig.
Their views of me are all correct but they are not complete.
Do you ever think about the "snapshots" other people may have gotten of you over the years and how different folks may think about you? And do you consider taking your own snapshots of others' lives?

What's your workspace like? |

Do you like your workspace to be wide open space or a cockpit? I am a totally a cockpit person. I want everything I may need as close as possible. I see people show their work desks and there's like a lap top on it and nothing else? How do you guys do it?
But I sit with my back to the wall, not facing it. I haven't done that for years and I started feeling clostrophobic spending so much time looking at such a confined space.
