Edit Reason: BIG Thumbs.

Wew, I have years of favorites and years of essential resources that are only applicable to the businesses I own and operate and the projects I am working on. Over the yeas I have them in categories, so when I work on a particular business and need a resource I can locate and launch specific resources without too much trouble. Call me old fashioned or old school, but I use MS FrontPage daily to add to or take away from an HTML list.
These are my main desktop go-to apps that I use daily.
Microsoft Frontpage.
It is old and not supported anymore, but works just as good if not better than the day it was originally released. I say 'if not better' because I have tweaked it over the years. I have created HTML "master lists" that open in different tabs in my browsers.
PHP Designer.
phpDesigner 8 is a fast PHP IDE and PHP editor with built-in HTML5-, CSS3- and JavaScript editors boosted with features to help you create amazing websites. phpDesigner 8 helps you with all from editing, analyzing, debugging to publishing websites powered by PHP, HTML5, CSS3 to JavaScript.
These are my essentials even though I may only use them a few times a week.
Checklists.
MS FrontPage Checklists are essential to covering all my bases, i.e. so I don't forget something important. Mainly 'actions' that are mandatory. Lest I forget and have to backtrack. Sorta like my personal AI lol.
Google Mail. So many years and lots of mishaps over the years. I use Google Mail to upload my HTML, Checklists, and even database backups for safekeeping.
GIMP.
GIMP is a free and open-source raster graphics editor used for images.
Okay, not as advanced as PhotoShop, but you can't beat the free price and it's easy to learn.
