Question on Content Syndication

Hi Kurt,

I came across a video where a guy said he is getting a lot of traffic by copying and pasting his blog posts into Medium.com reddit etc etc.

And I was wondering if this is still a viable practice...or if Google would frown upon such matters.

The idea behind his strategy was to post the content on high traffic sites...but wanted to get your thoughts on the matter as I trust you more.
