Here's an interesting article on how to make your own yeast at home. This is how bread was made for 1000s of years before commercial yeast was created about 100 years ago.

I finally found yeast around here.  I bought both regular and instant.  KURT, which should I use in your bread machine recipe? I don't know enough about this to know if there is a difference.
