[SHORT CONTENT] YouTube Shorts
#1
Youtube Shorts are Youtube's new short video feature. There are a couple of ways to create YouTube Shorts, but a simple, easy way to create Short videos:
  1. That are vertical, so they are formatted to mobile devices. An aspect ratio of 9:16 is best.

  2. It's 60 seconds or less.

  3. Uses the hashtag #Shorts in the YouTube video title or description.

There are a lot of benefits to creating YouTube Shorts. Here's a really good intro:

IMO, PowerPoint is a great option for creating YouTube Shorts without using a camera. You just need to make a quick adjustment so PPT will create "vertical" videos.

How to Get Custom Slide Size in Microsoft PowerPoint

In PPT:
Design > Slide Size > Custom

YouTube likes Short videos to be 9:16...so enter either of these two options:

886px
1920px

-or-

590px
1280px

The numbers above are the same aspect ratio, the first just creates larger videos. You can mess around with these a bit and check your results, but these are good starting dimensions.

Interesting moves into this space as the revenue model changes signfificantly for both owner & service provider. It could be evolving purely because of the short attention spans that most have made into a habit (Not a great thing for long term human development & progress) HOWEVER for producers with sharp minds, fast video tools and a pioneer sprit,  it could be huge for 2021 going forward, Especially as a "Zap" kind of Training to the brain to learn new ideas.

I agree 100%. All the major players are prepping for short content. This is a big opportunity for those that see the writing on the wall...

One idea is to create "flash card" type how to videos that help people learn something?
