The BEST free high-quality SEO training? - Kurt - 05-25-2021

Here's a really great resource from one of my favorite SEOers. Matthew Woodward has put together a page with 5 SEO training videos he recommends. All the videos are free and on Youtube and are about 40-60 minutes each.

Yes, Matthew is self-promoting 2 of the 5 videos but they are still worth your time.

#1: 14x Search Traffic In 8 Months – Matthew Woodward
#2: Google’s Algorithm is an Algorithm – Kyle Roof
#3: SEO and Website Flipping – Matt Diggity
#4: SEO Strategies for Competitive Verticals – James Norquay
#5: How To 12x Your Search Traffic – Matthew Woodward

He gives a lot more details about each video on his page. There's tons of useful info so check it out:

Besides Matthew, who else do you trust? One of the first impressions I had of you 20+ years ago was that you knew SEO so I think I can trust who you trust. Smile

My use of "trust" is more about methods and strategies than something like "honesty". I just want to make sure it's clear I'm not saying anyone is or isn't a "scam".

It's been a while since I really "followed" anyone, although I'm still on Matthew's list. I don't do a lot of "conventional" Google SEO any more, but when I need to know something specific I'll do a deep-dive into a specific topic more than specific people, trying to get a handle on any recent trends.

An example of this may be, "are expired social media accounts still good for linking"? But my experience allows me to do these things and this may not be good strategies for newbies who may not know the right questions to ask.
