Ketoprofen

Ketoprofen, 2-(3-benzoylphenyl)-propionic acid (chemical formula C12H12O2) is one of the propionic acid class of [[NSAID|non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug]] (NSAID) with additional analgesic and anti-pyretic effects. It acts by inhibiting the body's production of prostaglandin.

Brand names in the US are Orudis and Oruvail.
