Kaysone Phomvihane

Kaysone Phomvihane(December 13,1920-November 21,1992) was leader of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party from 1955,though Souphanouvong served in a figurehead role. He served as the first Prime Minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic,and then as president until his death in 1992.
