Kanie, Ama, Aichi

Kanie-cho is located in the southwest part of Aichi prefecture. In a neighborhood, Kanie-river , Nikkou-river, and Fukuta-river flow to north and south, and each is flowing into Ise bay. Kanie-cho whose 11.10 square kilometer whole region of the administration total area is above-sea-level the zone of 0m by 36,437 population (as of April, 2002) has the local characteristic that river area occupies 1/4 of the total area.
