Dnipropetrovs'k

Dnipropetrovs'k (formerly Ekaterinoslav) is Ukraine's third largest city with 1.2 million inhabitants. In Russian it is called Dnepropetrovsk. It is located on the Dnepr river. It is a major industrial centre in southern Ukraine and has one metro line with 6 stations. It was one of the key centers of the nuclear and arms industries of the former Soviet Union. It is part of the Dnipropetrovs'ka Oblast.
