Tip: When looking for pheeds, you'll want to get to know these icons:

[Image]   [Image]

This means the page you are looking at is available for syndication. By clicking on the icon, you'll be taken to a page containing the pheed in XML format.

Syndic8.com - Considered the "Grand Daddy of 'em al", Synic8 has both a search for pheeds and a DMOZ style pheed directory, where you can browse for pheeds by subject.

Google News2RSS from VoidStar - A nifty little PHP script used to "scrape" headlines from Google News and converts them into RSS pheeds, based on your keywords. It's recommended that you download the script and install it on your own site, however you can use the script hosted on Voidstar, as well.

Yahoo News RSS Pheeds - Yahoo provides some syndicated news pheeds. Be sure to check their TOS.

Yahoo Experimental Beta News Search - There's no search box, but clicking the link takes you to an XML/RSS page. Just cahnge: your+keywords to the end of the URL in your browser window to create an XML/RSS pheed page.

Yahoo Groups - If you've spent any time at all on the Net, you've probably come across Yahoo Groups. But did you know that they can be syndicated? Browse through the Groups, and when you find one you want to syndicate, just add /messages?rss=15 at the end of the URL. Note: the "15" is the number of "items" you want to dispaly, you can change this number to whatever you want (within reason).

DayPop - DayPop is a fantastic search engine that searches for blogs, news and headlines based on your keywords. The best part is, you can syndicate the search results as an RSS pheed. Simply do a search, and on the search results page, look for the [Image] icon, and there's your pheed with all the results. .

Feedster - Another terrific pheed engine, similar to DayPop (above), offering an entirely different selection of pheed search results. Again, do a search and on the results page, then click the "2.0 RSS" and up comes your pheed.

BlogDigger - Yet another powerful pheed search engine. Not only can you syndicate the search results, BlogDigger also offers the link to each resources RSS pheed. A great way to find topical, "syndicatable" content.

Blawgs.Detod.com - Another blog/pheed search engine. Not as powerful as the three above, but if your search is general, you'll probably find some great stuff here.

Blogdex- BlogDex offers another pheed search, but unlike those above, you cannot add the results from the searches. In this case, you search for individual blogs and add pheeds accordingly. When checking out the results, look for the RSS link, top/right of the individual blog's description page.

News4Sites.com - Has a good selection on pheeds, however, they require that you download/upload some files to your site. If you don't mind, then there's probably something for your.

About.com - About.com recently went to the "blog" format for their category editors. The main pages for many topics now have RSS pheeds available for you to use, providing a good source of content for many subjects..

Blogless Blog - A cool little GPL PHP script lets you publish your own RSS pheed using plain old html. If you have a decent understanding of html, you can easily generate your own pheed for syndication using any html page.

State of Utah's RSS Workshop - This is a great introduction into the technical aspects of RSS and gives you a lot of live examples, definitions and more.

Amazon Products Pheed - Here's a great resource that uses pheeds from Amazon.com to put millions of books, merchandise, toys, magazines, and more, on your sites.

NewsIsFree.com - It looks like it's $20 a year but has a free 30 day trial. I did the free trial, but they are too complicated, it takes too much time to find/add feeds.

Userland's Top 100 Most-Subscribed-To RSS Feeds - Userland offers their Top 100 most subscribed to pheeds.

Userland's Most Recently Updated Blogs - Here's another offering from Radio Userland to check for fresh, syndicated content.

eBay2RSS Feed Converter - From eBay Geeks, this cool resource will convert searches for eBay auctions into RSS pheeds, or select from pre-configured RSS pheeds on a variety of topics.

Moreover has an xml search engine. The results are xml so we can put them in blogbomb for whatever topic we want. It even provides the code for us to include the search engine on our own hosts.

PRWeb - Organizes press releases in a directory format, if you want to browse by topic, instead of searching by keyword.

LiveJournal - Is an online blog host, claiming to have more than 500,000 blogs, each of which can be syndicated. To find blogs of interest, use this LiveJournal "Interests Seach". Once you find a blog you want to syndicate, just add /rss after the URL, to generate an RSS pheed page.

For example:
livejournal.com/community/abductees/

Becomes:
livejournal.com/community/abductees/rss

NetWork54 - Here's an online forum provider where each forum has the ability to be syndicated. Simply browse the directory, and when you find a forum you want to syndicate, take the URL of the forum, and add ;xml-rss to the end

For example, the URL:
network54.com/Hide/Forum/27824

Becomes:
network54.com/Hide/Forum/27824;xml=rss

TheShiftedLibrarian - A nice selection of hand picked RSS pheeds, worth a look.

CNet Tech News - CNet provides many of its articles and news headlines via an RSS pheed.

CherryBomb - Our own script uses RSS pheeds from multiple Pay Per Click search engine affiliate programs. These PPC pheeds give you a great source of revenue, as well as adding additional content.

BlogBomb - Another of our DomBom profit bomb scripts. Blogbomb allows you to use just about any pheed you find on this page to insert on your webpages, in a search engine friendly manner. Create huge websites, packed full of content supplied by syndicated RSS pheeds.

BlogBomb Reader - This FREE program has thousands of pheeds already installed, just waiting for you to browse. This is the world phamous Amphetadesk News Reader, reskinned to look like the BlogBomb site. Subscriptions to pheeds are completly controlled by the user. If you delete a feed, it's deleted. No phoney "unsubscribe here" links that only confirm an email address. Here's a fast, easy, simple and FREE way to get your "feet wet" and see for yourself the power of syndication.
