Keith Green - he was traveling in crashed. Green had been flying visiting friends around the Last Days Ministries compound. Two of Green's children, three year old Josiah, and two year old Bethany, were also on board the plane, as was pilot Don Burmeister, and friends John and Dede Smalley and all six of their children. Knoxville, Tennessee - is also the home of the University of Tennessee's primary campus (UTK). The university's sports teams, called the "Volunteers" or "Vols", are extremely popular in the surrounding area. In fact, the area code comprising Knoxville and nearby Oak Ridge is 865 (VOL). During the American Civil War, the Battle of Campbell Station was fought here on November 16, 1863. In that battle Confederate troops led by General James Longstreet unsuccessfully attacked Union forces under General Ambrose Burnside. The next day the two week long Siege of Knoxville began when Longstreet placed Knoxville under siege. The siege failed and Longstreet returned with his men to General Robert E. Lee. Knoxville hosted the 1982 World's Fair. Knoxville is also the home of the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame, thanks partly to the popularity.

He retired from the Max Planck Institute in 1973 but continued.

Kristen Nygaard - pioneer and politician, was born on August 27, 1926, in Oslo, and died on Saturday August 10, 2002, after suffering a heart attack. Internationally he is acknowledged as the co-inventor of object-oriented programming and the programming language Simula with Ole-Johan Dahl in the 1960s. The computer systems that form the foundation of the modern information society are among the most complex things humans have created. Through his ground-breaking research Nygaard made it possible to manage that complexity. Nygaard got his master's degree in mathematics at the University of Oslo in 1956. His thesis on abstract probability theory was entitled "Theoretical Aspects of Monte Carlo Methods". In the eve of Winter War, when Carl Gustaf Mannerheim once again threatened to resign due to schism with the Cabinet, Kallio convinced him to stay. During the war he resisted the idea to give up any territory to the Soviet Union, but was forced to agree to sign the Moscow Peace Treaty. His health begun to fail – his right arm was paralyzed – and he was not active in the dealings with Germany leading to the Continuation War. On August 28 he suffered a serious stroke, and the Prime Minister Risto Ryti took over his duties. Kallio resigned formally on November 27, 1940, prior to the Continuation.
